The Wallet

Let’s get to know your Bloom wallet like the back of a leaf 🍀

When you first open the app, you’ll be on your “wallet” or home/main page 🏡

You’ll see three things instantly: big numbers at the top, a pretty graph, returns and buying power 🗒️

Let’s start with those big numbers 🙈

These big numbers at the top are your overall portfolio value 🔍

💡Portfolio Value = total worth of your stocks + cash

Right below the portfolio value, you’ll see a nice graph 📈

This graph tracks the total value of your stocks over different time periods ⏰

You can choose from 1D (1 day) all the way to All time! 😮

The 1D view is a great way to see day to day changes ⚡

But, please note that investing is long term! 🕰️

So, if you see lots of spikes or drops in portfolio value, remember that day to day changes are normal 📊

The 1W view will show you portfolio changes over the past week 🗓️

Weekly fluctuations are also very normal, but may be a closer glance at weekly market trends and recent news 🗞️

The 1M and 3M view show portfolio changes over 1 month or the past 3 months ⚖️

Both of these are great for seeing longer economic trends 💵

1Y to all time show trends over an even longer period of time! 😮

You can also scrub your finger on the graph line to see specific dates and prices 🔍

Now you know that the big number is your portfolio value and that the graph tracks the portfolio value overtime 🗒️

Next, we’ll learn about the two cards beneath the graph 🤔
